Common fire extinguishing methods

Extinguish the fire with water. Wood, paper and other fires can be put out with water. Splash water directly on combustibles to extinguish flames. Wet the combustibles near the fire point with water to cool them down.

Use other tools to extinguish the fire. Cover SARS, wet quilts, clothes, etc. on the surface of the burning object to isolate the air and stop the combustion. At the same time, brooms and clothes can also be used as tools for extinguishing small fires.

Isolate and extinguish the fire. Remove combustible materials near the ignition point to prevent the fire from spreading.

Foam fire extinguisher. A fire extinguisher that uses spray foam to extinguish fires is mainly suitable for extinguishing oil fires, such as gasoline, kerosene, vegetable oil, and other initial fires; it can also be used for extinguishing general solid material fires, such as wood, cotton, hemp, bamboo, etc., as well as aircraft, automobiles, etc. Fires caused by accidents; not suitable for fighting live equipment fires and gas fires.
